Welcome to HisDiary (English) / Ta記 (Traditional Chinese) (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and uninstall the App.
2. Information You Provide
All information you enter into the App is created and controlled by you. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- Contact profiles — names, nicknames, relationship labels, birthdays, avatars, and other fields you add;
- Notes and diary entries — text you write about people or events;
- Interaction records — dates, descriptions, and linked contacts;
- Media — photos or images you attach from your camera or photo library;
- App preferences — such as display language and interface settings.
We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to use the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
Because the App runs entirely on your device, we use your information only to:
- Display, organize, search, and statistics your records within the App;
- Send local reminders (for example, upcoming birthdays) if you enable related features;
- Honor your language and display preferences;
- Perform import and export operations when you initiate them.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or selling to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using the operating system’s secure application storage (for example, app sandbox storage on iOS or Android). We do not upload your contacts, notes, media, or interaction history to our servers — we have no such infrastructure for this App.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your device locked and protected with a passcode, biometric lock, or equivalent;
- Backing up your device or using the App’s export feature if you wish to preserve your data;
- Understanding that uninstalling the App or clearing app data may permanently delete your records.
While we design the App to keep data on-device only, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against loss, theft, or unauthorized access to your physical device.
5. Device Permissions
The App may request access to certain device features solely to support functionality you use:
- Camera — to capture photos you choose to attach to a contact or record;
- Photo library / media — to select existing images you choose to import.
You may deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings; some features may then be unavailable. We do not access your camera or photo library in the background without your action.
6. No Network Collection; No Third-Party Sharing
HisDiary / Ta記 is built as a pure offline application. The App does not transmit your personal content to us or to third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud-backup services as part of normal operation.
If you use your device’s share sheet, file manager, email client, or cloud drive to export or copy data you initiate, that transfer is between you and the service you select — not governed by our servers, because we do not receive that data.
7. Import and Export
The App may offer tools to export or import your data as a file (for backup or migration). These operations run on your device. Any file you save or open is under your control; please store export files securely and do not share them with parties you do not trust.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App on a shared device, you may delete it using the App’s clear-data function or by uninstalling the App.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may, at any time:
- View, edit, or delete individual contacts, notes, media, and interactions within the App;
- Clear all App data using the settings provided in the App;
- Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data (subject to your device’s behavior after uninstall).
Depending on your region, you may have additional rights regarding personal data. Because we do not hold your data on our servers, exercising rights that require access to data we store centrally may not apply; your primary control is on your device.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we encourage you to review this page when updating the App.

HisDiary / Ta記 以純離線應用為設計。在正常運作中，本應用不會將您的個人內容傳輸給我們，也不會傳給第三方分析、廣告或雲端備份服務。
若您透過系統分享、檔案管理、郵件或雲端硬碟等自行發起的匯出或複製，該傳輸發生於您與所選服務之間——我們不會收到該資料，因為我們沒有相關伺服器。
7. 匯入與匯出
本應用可能提供將資料匯出或匯入為檔案的功能（用於備份或遷移）。相關操作均在您的裝置上完成。您儲存或開啟的檔案由您自行管理；請妥善保管匯出檔案，勿向不可信任的第三方分享。
8. 兒童隱私
本應用並非針對 13 歲以下兒童（或您所在司法管轄區規定的最低年齡）設計。我們不會故意收集兒童的個人資訊。若您認為兒童在共用裝置上透過本應用提供了資訊，可使用本應用的清除資料功能或解除安裝本應用以刪除相關內容。

您可隨時：
- 在本應用內檢視、編輯或刪除個別聯絡人、筆記、媒體與互動記錄；
- 使用本應用設定中的功能清除全部應用資料；
- 解除安裝本應用以移除本機儲存的資料（實際效果依裝置系統行為而定）。
依您所在地區，您可能享有其他與個人資料相關的權利。由於我們不在伺服器端保存您的資料，部分需由資料控制者集中存取方能行使的權利可能不適用；您的主要控制權在於您的裝置。
